Monroechamber in Waukesha, Wisconsin, is seeking a CNC Set Up Machinist for 1st shift. You will set up and operate CNC turning and milling machines to produce precision components in a climate-controlled environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 3 years CNC setup/operating experience.
• Fanuc control experience preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical docs.

Responsabilités

• Set up and operate CNC turning and milling machines to produce precision components
• Select and verify appropriate tooling and fixtures for machine setups
• Adjust tool and work offsets as needed
• Make program edits to improve efficiency, productivity, and part quality
• Read and interpret blueprints, customer specifications, shop travelers, quality standards, and bills of material
• Monitor, inspect, and document part quality according to print and production requirements
• Perform precision measurements using micrometers, calipers, height gauges, dial bore gauges, and other hand measuring instruments
• Apply basic working knowledge of G and M codes
• Maintain proper machine fluid levels and perform minor machine maintenance
• Keep machines and work areas clean, organized, and safe
• Work independently while communicating effectively and collaborating with the team
• Maintain a strong focus on quality, accuracy, and workmanship

Position Title: CNC Set Up Machinist Wage: $25.00-$32.00/hour Shift: 1st Hours: Monday-Thursday 6:00am-3:00pm, Friday 6:00am-12:00pm

CNC Set Up Machinist Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Set up and operate CNC turning and milling machines to produce precision components
• Select and verify appropriate tooling and fixtures for machine setups

CNC Set Up Machinist Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum 3 years of experience setting up and operating CNC machines
• Experience with Fanuc controls preferred
• Auto bar feeder experience is a plus
• Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documentation
• Basic knowledge of G and M codes
• Proficiency using precision measuring instruments, including micrometers, calipers, height gauges, dial bore gauges, other precision inspection equipment
• Ability to edit CNC programs as needed
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Effective communication and teamwork skills
• Dependable, positive, and solutions-focused approach
• Will be tested on measurement and inspection skills during the interview
