Job summary

Alliance Robotics is seeking a Robot Technician to teardown, rebuild, and certify used Fanuc robot arms for shipment to factories nationwide. The role emphasizes hands-on mechanical work, diagnostics, and ensuring ready-to-run robots leave the shop.

• 3+ years in industrial robotics, Fanuc experience strongly preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and electrical troubleshooting.
• Comfort working with dirty, heavy equipment and getting it ship-ready.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Full mechanical teardown and rebuild of Fanuc robot arms.
• Electrical diagnostics on motors, amplifiers, control boards, and teach pendants.
• Spot worn reducers and other mechanical wear before it becomes a customer problem.
• Programming support and diagnostic troubleshooting.
• Clean, assemble, and prep units for final paint.
• Load, unload, and move equipment - must be able to lift 60 lbs.
• Occasional travel to support customer installations.

We buy used industrial robots, bring them back to life, and ship them to factories across the country. The Robot Technician is the person who makes that happen - tearing down Fanuc arms, diagnosing electrical faults, rebuilding controllers, and certifying each robot before it leaves the shop.
