100Hires, Inc. in Florida seeks a hands-on automation engineer focused on FANUC robotics to troubleshoot, program, and optimize robotic cells and automated production equipment.

You will collaborate with Production, Quality, and Maintenance to reduce downtime, improve throughput, and implement continuous improvements, while developing clear process documentation and supporting safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing, Industrial, Automation, or closely related discipline).
• 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment preferably hands-on FANUC robot programming, troubleshooting, and automation support.
• FANUC Robot certification highly desired; PLC, Lean Six Sigma training/certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, maintain, and optimize FANUC robotic systems and automated production equipment.
• Support production by rapidly resolving automation, process, and equipment issues.
• Analyze manufacturing performance and implement improvements to reduce downtime, scrap, and inefficiencies.
• Modify and improve robotic programs, tooling, and process parameters to enhance productivity and quality.
• Lead root cause investigations and implement sustainable corrective actions.
• Support preventive maintenance programs and equipment reliability initiatives.
• Develop and maintain process documentation, work instructions, and Operations standards.
• Partner with Production, Quality, and Maintenance teams to drive continuous improvement.
• Support automation upgrades, equipment modifications, and capital projects as needed.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and operational standards.
