MOHR Talent is seeking an experienced Automation Engineer in Caledonia, MS to support programming, integration, and optimization of robotic and automated systems in a high-precision aerospace/defense environment. The role is on-site with a lucrative salary and DOE expectations.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in industrial automation, strong FANUC robotics experience, and hands-on PLC/HMI/sensor/motion control skills. Bachelor's degree from an ABET-accredited program is required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in industrial automation, robotics, or controls in manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Program, troubleshoot, and optimize FANUC robotic systems and automation equipment.
• Develop and modify robot programs, sequences, and control logic.
• Support robotic welding, material handling, and automated assembly.
• Troubleshoot robotic, electrical, and control system issues.
• Read schematics, PLC logic, and control drawings to diagnose problems.
• Assist with commissioning, FAT, startups, and new equipment integration.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineering, Production, Quality, and Maintenance on improvements.
• Support NPI, tooling integration, and root-cause analysis.
