Job summary

Hot Topic, Inc. is seeking a Sales Associate in Jacksonville to deliver an outstanding customer experience for fans of music and pop culture. You will use your product knowledge to help fans find merch, stock shelves, and assist with visual merchandising to keep the store inviting.

As part of the team, you’ll engage customers at the register, drive add-on sales, and communicate trends to management. You’ll contribute to a positive, fan-focused in-store experience and collaborate with teammates

Qualifications

• Previous experience working in a retail environment.
• Superior customer service and selling skills.
• Must be at least 16 years old to join the fandom force.
• Ability to collaborate and communicate with team and HQ partners.
• Basic store navigation, merchandising and stocking tasks.

Responsibilities

• Provide an amazing shopping experience to encourage repeat visits.
• Cover the sales floor and keep areas visually up to standard.
• Operate the register and drive add-on sales with fan knowledge.
• Share fashion and music trend information with management and HQ.
• Help prevent theft and maintain store security from spells and wizardry.
• Keep stock rooms organized and the store tidy.
• Demonstrate strong teamwork and support store leadership.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Store Leader.
