Job summary

League One Volleyball (LOVB) seeks an Event Operations Manager for LOVB Miami. This full-time hybrid role oversees on-site event planning, venue coordination, staff leadership, and fan experience for home matches and events in Miami, FL.

Reporting to the VP, Marketing & Fan Experience, you will manage budgets, vendor contracts, and post-event analysis, ensuring safe, smooth, and memorable experiences. The ideal candidate has 3+ years in sports or live event management, facility operations, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 3+ years in sports or live event management, operations or coordination.
• Facility operations experience with venue management.
• Experience managing game day staff, contractors or volunteers.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills; capable of independent work.

Responsibilities

• Own event execution for LOVB Miami home games and events; manage on-site staff and contractors.
• Develop SOPs, playbooks, floor plans, and run-of-show for events.
• Coordinate with teams, media, and partners; provide facility details and post-event settlements.
• Source and manage third-party vendors for staffing, security, rentals, and production.
• Coordinate with Pro Operations on on-court staff and game-day setup.
• Deliver post-event reporting and recommendations; ensure sustainability and reuse.
