Job summary

Larimer County Department of Human Services is seeking a Social Caseworker Manager within the CYFA Division. The Family Connections Support Manager will lead a team of workers providing quality family time supervision for children in out-of-home placement and their parents, coordinating services to ensure safe reunification.

The role emphasizes coaching, staff development, and data-driven permanency assessments while ensuring timely and accurate documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in related field (child welfare, social work, or human services).
• Three years of professional/ internship/volunteer experience in a human services-related agency; Master’s degree can substitute for one year.
• Possession of a valid Driver's License by date of hire.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support team members delivering services to children and parents.
• Manage caseloads for supervised parenting time and coordinate with internal teams and community resources.
• Collaborate with community partners to provide supervised parenting time when internal capacity is reached.
• Communicate with CYFA Supervisors to ensure clear, family-focused service provision and progress updates.
• Develop and present information to guide parental confidence and skills development.
• Maintain and update Family Time procedures in line with legislation and practice changes.
• Explore innovative parenting time modalities using current research to promote safe reunification.
