Job summary

Larimer County is seeking a Social Caseworker Manager in the CYFA Division to lead and supervise a team delivering family time services, ensure permanency for children, and coordinate with internal teams and community partners.

The role emphasizes coaching, data-driven assessments, and ongoing staff development, with a hybrid schedule requiring at least one day in the office and occasional after-hours support. A background in child welfare and a valid driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a field related to child welfare social casework.
• Three years of professional, internship, or volunteer experience in a human services-related agency; Master’s can substitute for one year.
• Possession of a valid Driver's License by date of hire.

Responsibilities

• Supervising and supporting team members in providing quality services to children and parents.
• Managing the caseload for supervised parenting time and coordinating with internal teams to achieve permanency.
• Collaborating with community partners to engage supervised parenting time services when internal capacity is reached.
• Ensuring clear, family-focused communication about service provision, progress, and barriers.
• Developing, presenting, and providing information to support parents’ confidence and skill development.
• Maintaining and updating Family Time procedures and policies per changes in legislation and practice.
• Exploring and implementing innovative parenting time modalities aligned with current research and standards.
