Children & Families of Iowa is seeking a dedicated Family Support Worker to help children and families navigate trauma and work toward stability and healing. You will provide transportation, support supervision of family interactions, and crisis intervention as part of a collaborative team.

This role emphasizes independent problem solving, strong communication, and timely case documentation, with opportunities to contribute to a mission focused on keeping families safe, supported, and connected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least one year of experience in human services working with children and/or dependent adults.
• Associate degree with at least six months of relevant experience, or Bachelor's degree in human services or a related field.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

Responsibilities

• Provide transportation for families and children as needed
• Facilitate and supervise family interactions
• Provide crisis intervention and support services
• Coordinate and schedule meetings between families and FCS team members
• Complete accurate and timely case documentation
• Collaborate with a team dedicated to supporting and strengthening families
