Gulf Coast JFCS is seeking a Family Support Specialist to provide on-site interventions for children and families. You will work with a multidisciplinary team to support foster parents and caregivers, offering crisis intervention, documentation, and courtroom collaboration as needed.
The role requires a High School Diploma and at least one year of relevant experience; valid driver’s license and ability to lift up to 50 pounds are required. Flexibility in schedule is a must as client needs vary.

The Family Support Specialist is a non-exempt position responsible for providing on-site individual and family interventions. This individual works as a team member with a case manager, foster parents, primary caregivers, guardian ad litem, and other appropriate professionals. The Family Support Specialist provides assistance, intervention, and education related to issues such as substance abuse, adjustment and relationship issues, stress, daily living skills, budget training, and employment assistance.
Flexibility is required. Schedules will vary according to the clients' needs.
