Job summary

OpenEd seeks a detail-oriented Parent Support Specialist I to assist families from enrollment through reimbursements, answering questions with warmth and professionalism. You will help organize community events and coordinate with partner schools to ensure a smooth experience for every family.

The role requires excellent communication, CRM experience, and a commitment to flexible availability within Pacific Time.

Qualifications

• Must be detail-oriented, organized, and patient in handling parent inquiries.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for diverse families.
• Experience managing customer interactions and tickets in a CRM is a plus.
• Familiarity with Google products like Gmail, Calendar, Docs, Sheets, Forms.
• Eligible to work in the United States and able to work Pacific Time hours.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct support to parents via phone, text, email, chat, and social channels.
• Triage and respond to parent requests using the company ticketing system.
• Keep accurate records of interactions and update databases as needed.
• Advise families on building a flexible education program schedule.
• Collaborate in Parent Support team meetings to improve service.
• Coordinate with team leads to share consistent information across channels.
• Assist with parent information sessions and community events.
