Job summary

Child & Family Resources is seeking a dedicated Parent Educator to provide home visits and support families navigating early intervention services. The role emphasizes culturally relevant practices, family-centered planning, and data-driven documentation to help families achieve their goals.

Responsibilities include maintaining a caseload of 15 families, coordinating with AzEIP/IEP processes, and delivering monthly group connections while flexibly accommodating evenings or weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Family Studies, ECE, or related field.
• Two or more years of experience with young children 0–5 and their parents.
• Experience with AzEIP program.
• Experience with home visitation and group education.
• Knowledge of typical and delayed child development.
• Knowledge of community resources.
• Experience with culturally and linguistically diverse populations.
• Effective communication with families and partners.
• Flexibility to work evenings/weekends.
• Ability to work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Implement Parents as Teachers model and curriculum with fidelity.
• Conduct home visits and maintain a caseload of 15 families.
• Prepare for home visits and complete Planning Guide in Penelope.
• Provide ongoing resources and attend IEP/AzEIP meetings.
• Administer developmental and screening tools as needed.
• Facilitate monthly group connections for families.
• Maintain case records and documentation within required timelines.
• Travel to home visits and trainings using own or agency vehicle.

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work / Family Studies / Early Childhood Education / Early Childhood Special Education or related field
