Qualifications

• Compassionate and dependable individuals.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience in caregiving or human services preferred.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass background screening.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
• Ability to complete required training (including MedCore if applicable).
• Paid training and development.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home, one-on-one support tailored to individual goals.
• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as hygiene, meals, and routines.
• Support skill development including communication, socialization, and independence.
• Implement behavior support strategies as outlined in plans.
• Encourage positive behavior, engagement, and routine structure.
• Facilitate community involvement (appointments, outings, activities).
• Ensure health, safety, and supervision at all times.
• Document services in compliance with Medicaid waiver requirements.
• Collaborate with families and care teams to provide consistent support.

What You’ll Do

As a Family Support / In-Home Direct Support Professional (DSP), you will provide individualized, person-centered support to children and adults in their homes and community settings. Services are guided by each individual’s Person-Centered Individualized Support Plan (PCISP) and focus on building independence, daily living skills, and community integration.
