At Peace Health Care Agency is seeking an experienced Direct Support Professional (DSP) to provide quality care and support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in home and community settings. The role involves daily living support, independence encouragement, BSP implementation, and documentation.

The position offers flexible scheduling and the chance to meaningfully impact the lives of clients each day.

Qualifications

• Experience as Direct Support Professional (DSP) required.
• Ability to support individuals with behavioral needs and BSPs preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Compassionate, dependable, patient, and adaptable.
• Ability to assist with mobility and personal care needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct support with daily living activities, personal care, mobility, and companionship .
• Encourage independence, social engagement, and community participation.
• Implement individualized care plans and BSPs.
• Support individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder and other developmental disabilities.
• Maintain a safe, respectful, and person-centered environment.
• Accompany individuals to medical appointments, therapy sessions, and community activities.
• Provide reliable transportation as needed.
• Accurately document services, progress notes, and goal tracking.
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations and agency policies.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct support with daily living activities, personal care, mobility, and companionship
