The role involves traveling to homes for supervised visits, teaching homemaking and parenting skills, and preparing client progress reports. A valid driver's license and reliable car are required. Daily pay, flexible schedules, and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associates degree or 2 years of child welfare experience required.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Experience in social work, child care, or working with families preferred.
• Dependable automobile, valid driver's license and auto insurance proof.
• Must pass required background checks.

Responsibilities

• Support families to prevent permanent placement of children out of their home.
• Provide transportation for parent/child to supervised visitation; travel may be extensive.
• Teach homemaking, parenting skills, and anger management; use community resources.
• Supervised/Unsupervised visitation; observe interactions and redirect if needed.
• Prepare written reports and maintain accurate records; monthly progress reports.
• Report all child abuse and neglect; attend mandated trainings.
• Locate housing, jobs and supports for housing program participants.
