Job summary

Firefly Children & Family Alliance in Columbus, IN seeks a Community Liaison to advocate for at‑risk children and families, coordinating with local agencies and services to assess needs and monitor progress.

You will conduct home-based services, connect families to community supports, and ensure referrals are followed through to improve outcomes. This role covers Bartholomew county and requires strong collaboration and documentation skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, sociology, or related field from an accredited college.
• Or combination with three years' experience working directly with families in human services.
• Associate's degree in related field with three years' experience; or High School Diploma with five years' experience working with families.

Responsibilities

• Referral Family Support (70%): lead families through goal-setting, provide home-based services, coordinate referrals, advocate for progress, and assist transport to programs.
• Community Engagement (30%): maintain relationships with social workers and agencies, complete required documentation.
