Job summary

YMCA of the East Bay is hiring a Family Services Coordinator to implement comprehensive family services across Head Start programs. You will supervise Family Advocate staff, lead outreach, and coordinate family engagement activities to meet performance standards.

The role requires collaboration with health and family services leadership and partners, ensuring compliance and effective service delivery for diverse families in the East Bay.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in social work, social welfare, human development, or related field; master’s degree preferred.
• Three years of Head Start or child development program experience preferred.
• Experience with multilingual, immigrant, and low-income families.

Responsibilities

• Develop and lead high-quality programming achieving service delivery goals.
• Recruit, supervise, develop, evaluate, retain and motivate a Family Advocate team.
• Collaborate with program managers to monitor implementation.
• Monitor family files, goals, communications, case notes, and engagement.
• Support parent engagement and committees.
