Job summary

Catholic Charities of Baltimore is seeking a Family Service Coordinator I to organize, implement, and track Head Start activities. You will recruit families, develop Individualized Family Partnership plans, and serve as a community liaison.

The schedule is Monday–Friday, 8am–4pm, with a $2,000 sign-on bonus for external candidates. Responsibilities include building relationships with families, arranging health screenings, and supporting recruitment with the ERSEA team.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in human services or related field; combination of education and experience may be considered.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher preferred for II/III levels; field-related knowledge required.
• Experience or familiarity with Head Start/Early Head Start programs is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Establish collaborative relationships with parents/caregivers and communicate respectfully.
• Coordinate referrals to community resources and connect families to services.
• Link children and families to health screenings and ongoing health records.
• Support ERSEA recruitment activities with the Coordinator.
• Organize parent training and group activities to promote engagement.
