You will support case management, liaise with staff and community partners, and help families advocate for their children. The role involves coordinating child health functions, engaging parents, and establishing partnerships to enhance enrollment and service delivery within Head Start programs.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associate or bachelor’s degree in social services or related field preferred.
• Willingness to obtain a credential within eighteen (18) months of hire.

Aufgaben

• Create and maintain a positive work environment and build trust with staff.
• Educate and engage parents to obtain age-appropriate health screenings/exams with follow-ups.
• Maintain health files per agency procedures and confidentiality guidelines.
• Identify Head Start eligible families and children, including homeless or disabled or vulnerable populations.
• Determine, verify, and document eligibility.
• Maintain funded enrollment level with ERSEA manager.
• Interview parents/guardians as directed and determine best placement.
• Monitor attendance and follow up on absences.
• Establish professional boundaries and empower family participation.
• Represent Head Start at community meetings and events.
