The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania is seeking a County Social Services Aide 2 in Sunbury, PA to support children, youth, and families within the Northumberland County Children & Youth Services division. You will provide hands-on services, lead parent education initiatives, and help connect families with community resources while maintaining client records and collaborating with agency staff.

Hours are 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday.

Qualifikationen

• One year as a County Social Services Aide 1 or equivalent public contact work in a human services agency which included interviewing and obtaining information.
• Graduation from high school or equivalency and two years of public contact work in a human services agency including interviewing.
• An associate's degree in sociology, social welfare, psychology, gerontology, criminal justice, or related social sciences.
• Any equivalent combination of experience and training.

• Provide supportive services to children, youth, and families through parent education programs and community-based assistance.
• Work closely with families, community partners, and agency staff to support parenting skills, family development, and client progress.
• Perform case record maintenance, document client progress, and participate in team meetings to review goals.
