Job summary

Carriage Services is seeking a compassionate Family Service Counselor to guide families through the final arrangements, providing pre-need planning and at-need support with care and professionalism. This full-time, on-site role at Conejo Mountain Memorial Park offers training, a commission-based structure, and a steady stream of leads.

You will educate families, meet with clients, maintain CRM data, and participate in community events while collaborating with funeral directors and leadership

Responsibilities

• Educate families about the benefits of pre planning funeral and cemetery arrangements.
• Meet with at need families with a licensed funeral director to assist with service and cemetery selections.
• Conduct follow up calls and build relationships within the community.
• Maintain accurate records and manage your sales pipeline.
• Represent the funeral home and cemetery with empathy, integrity, and professionalism.
• Participate in community events, presentations and workshops.
• Collaborate with Family Service, Funeral Directors, Cemetery Grounds and Leadership Teams.

What Youll Do

• Educating families about the benefits of pre planning funeral and cemetery arrangements

• Proactively generated leads through phone outreach park ranging door to door canvassing community events seminars and lunch and learning programs using company provided resources
• Prior sales experience is helpful but not required we provide training
• May require the possession or ability to obtain an insurance license as required by applicable law
• Must have a valid drivers license and reliable transportation
• Bilingual speaking a plus
