Coastal Horizons Center, Inc. is seeking a Child First Family Resource Partner to provide community resource expertise and collaborate with families in Guilford and Randolph Counties.

This role supports the Child First team by identifying services, engaging with families, and helping develop comprehensive care plans. You will work 9am-7pm, Monday through Friday, navigating referrals, applying evidence-based practices, and participating in reflective supervision.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Human Service field preferred; required under agency guidelines.
• Three years of psychotherapeutic experience with culturally diverse children and families.
• Meets requirements under 10A NCAC 27G.0104 as a Qualified Professional for Mental Health.
• Ability to speak a second language (Spanish, Portuguese, Creole, or other) is highly valued.

Responsabilités

• Provide community resource expertise to families and connect with local service providers.
• Engage in collaborative family assessments using data from interviews and observations.
• Support family stabilization by addressing urgent and long-term needs within the Care Plan.
• Enhance caregiver executive functioning (planning, organizing, time management) as needed.
• Maintain reflective stance with caregivers and participate in supervision.
• Utilize videotaping to support therapy and supervision.
• Offer interactive, growth-promoting play experiences for families.
• Complete assessments and maintain documentation for accountability and reimbursement.
• Meet program benchmarks and Accreditation standards, including home visits.
• Provide mental health assessment and consultation in early care settings.
• Participate in clinical and administrative activities as appropriate.
