Job summary

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or 3+ years’ experience with individuals with developmental disabilities and families.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish, with strong written and verbal communication.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); able to manage databases and generate reports.
  • Valid Massachusetts Driver's License and ability to travel locally.
  • Strong organizational, time-management, and project coordination skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills for families and partners.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare financial assistance documents.
  • Attend meetings with the Department of Developmental Services (DDS).
  • Support families with financial processes (Expenditure Plans, processing check requests).
  • Maintain documentation of fund distributions.
  • Develop the Asset Development Initiative.
  • Utilize Microsoft Access and Excel to manage fund allocations and distributions.
  • Prepare mid-year and year-end financial reports.
  • Ensure compliance with DDS auditing requirements.
  • Collaborate with the agency’s finance department.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of the Center’s plans, goals, and objectives.
  • Provide a welcoming environment for individuals and their families.
  • Nurture positive relationships with individuals, families, guardians, neighbors, and other service providers.
  • Maintain accurate inventories of program supplies, equipment, office materials, and family resource center items.
  • Track and coordinate the use of agency resources and shared assets.
  • Monitor compliance with agency standards related to cleanliness, organization, safety, accessibility, and facility presentation.
