Position Overview

Under the supervision of the Catholic Social Ministries Director, the Family Resilience & New Mothers Program Coordinator is responsible for planning, implementing, coordinating, and evaluating family-centered programming that promotes stability, resilience, and overall well-being for children, parents, and families throughout the community.

This position provides comprehensive case management, facilitates educational and social-emotional programming, develops community partnerships, and connects families with resources that strengthen long-term family success.

The coordinator serves as the primary administrator of the Edmundite Missions New Mothers Program, overseeing participant recruitment, enrollment, curriculum implementation, budgeting, community partnerships, program evaluation, and grant compliance. The coordinator also collaborates across Edmundite Missions departments and with community organizations to provide coordinated wraparound services.

Program Leadership & Administration
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the Family Resilience and New Mothers programs.
  • Develop, implement, coordinate, and evaluate evidence-based family resilience programming.
  • Recruit, enroll, and retain participants.
  • Develop program schedules, curriculum, educational materials, and participant resources.
  • Monitor program outcomes and recommend improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies and grant requirements.
New Mothers Program Coordination
  • Serve as lead coordinator for the New Mothers Program.
  • Recruit and enroll participants.
  • Coordinate orientation, attendance, and engagement.
  • Facilitate educational sessions.
  • Coordinate childcare, guest speakers, and fitness instructor.
  • Manage client incentives, gift cards, diapers, and supplies.
  • Maintain documentation and inventory.
Family Support & Case Management
  • Provide strengths-based case management.
  • Develop individualized service plans.
  • Connect participants with community resources.
  • Monitor participant progress.
  • Facilitate individual and group sessions.
Social-Emotional Learning
  • Coordinate SEL programming.
  • Develop educational activities.
  • Adapt curriculum to participant needs.
Community Partnerships & Outreach
  • Maintain relationships with community partners.
  • Coordinate referrals and wraparound services.
  • Represent Edmundite Missions at meetings and community events.
  • Prepare reports for partners.
  • Conduct outreach and recruitment.
Budget & Program Operations
  • Assist with program budgets.
  • Monitor expenditures.
  • Maintain receipts and purchasing records.
  • Track participant incentives.
  • Assist with grant reporting.
Documentation & Reporting
  • Maintain records in Edmundite Missions Database system
  • Complete case notes and attendance.
  • Prepare reports and assist with evaluation.
Divisional Collaboration
  • Collaborate with other departments across the Edmundite Missions.
  • Support divisional initiatives and grants.
  • Coordinate monthly Forwards Fellowship case management and resource allocation.
  • Coordinate any special partnership initiatives, such as the monthly Protecting Futures Meat and Greet sessions
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or ability to obtain within one year of employment.
  • Two years of relevant experience preferred.
  • Experience with grant-funded programs preferred.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
  • Knowledge of family systems and trauma-informed care.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of community resources.
  • Experience with electronic case management systems.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
Certifications
  • Willingness to obtain CFLE, social work licensure, or similar certification within one year.
  • Mental Health First Aid, Trauma-Informed Care, and CPR/First Aid preferred.
Working Conditions
  • Monday-Friday with occasional evenings/weekends.
  • Local travel for meetings, outreach, home visits, and court.
  • Ability to lift program materials up to 25 pounds.
