Job summary

United Way Central Florida is seeking a Success By 6 Coordinator in Lakeland, FL, to provide administrative, operational, and program support for the Success By 6 initiative and the Children's Resource Center. Welcome families, coordinate classes and events, maintain records, and help the team run smoothly.

The role requires an associate degree or equivalent, at least one year in admin or coordination, experience with families, and strong organizational and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
• At least one year of administrative support, program coordination, or related experience.
• Experience working with young children and families in educational or community settings preferred.
• Coursework or experience in early childhood education or family services is a plus.
• Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and assist families, visitors, community partners, and vendors at the Children’s Resource Center.
• Provide administrative and operational support for Success By 6 programs, classes, events, and daily activities.
• Schedule classes, events, meetings, and room reservations; coordinate logistics and materials.
• Assist with or facilitate Success By 6 classes and family learning activities as needed.
• Maintain attendance, program data, records, reports, and other documentation.
• Support the Parent Lending Library and help families access resources.
• Coordinate departmental meetings, including agendas and minutes.
• Assist with community outreach activities and special events.
