Job summary

Lutheran Services Florida is seeking a Family Specialist to support families at our Brandon center. You will orient new families, connect them with community resources, and help implement family-support programming and events.

Requirements include a high school diploma (associate degree preferred) and at least two years’ experience serving families. You will maintain records, ensure a safe environment, and collaborate with staff and partners.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate degree preferred.
• Minimum two years’ experience serving families.

Responsibilities

• Provide Center orientation to new families.
• Assist in development and implementation of family support programming.
• Refer families to appropriate programs and community resources.
• Coordinate and facilitate Center-driven programming and events.
• Document services and maintain records; input data into a database.
• Ensure Center is a safe, welcoming environment.
