Compensation: Fee for Service or LFP (Longitudinal Family Physician payment model) + MOCAP on-call stipend Level One
Current College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia (CPSBC) License, Full Canadian College of Family Practitioners (CCFP), Mandatory Canadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA), Mandatory Obstetric Experience, Desired
Come work as a Family Practice Maternity Provider with Vancouver Coastal Health (VCH)!
We are recruiting 1-2 family physicians to provide low-risk obstetrical care, including half-day prenatal clinics and/or 12-24 hour call shifts for labour and delivery.
Our team collaborates with obstetricians, pediatricians, midwives, and nurses. Richmond is a regular training site for medical students and residents.
Richmond Hospital is BC's busiest non-tertiary maternity hospital, with 1463 births last year.
Qualifications include:
• CPSBC License – Full
• CCFP – Mandatory
• CMPA – Mandatory
• Obstetric Experience – Desired
All health care workers in publicly-funded facilities must report vaccination and infection history for safety and outbreak management, as part of onboarding.
