Compensation: Fee for Service or LFP (Longitudinal Family Physician payment model) + MOCAP on-call stipend Level One.

Current College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia (CPSBC) License. Full Canadian College of Family Practitioners (CCFP). Mandatory Canadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA). Obstetric experience is desired.

Role and Facility Information

Come work as a Family Practice Maternity Provider with Vancouver Coastal Health (VCH)!

We are recruiting 1-2 family physicians to provide low-risk obstetrical care, including half-day prenatal clinics and/or 12-24 hour call shifts for labour and delivery.

You will collaborate with a team including obstetricians, pediatricians, midwives, and nursing staff. Richmond is a training site for medical students and residents.

Richmond Hospital is BC's busiest non-tertiary maternity hospital, with 1463 births last year at the Birth Centre.

Qualifications include:
• CPSBC License – Full
• CCFP – Mandatory
• CMPA – Mandatory
• Obstetric experience – Desired

All health care workers in publicly-funded facilities must report their vaccination and infection history as part of onboarding.
