Qualifications

• Board certified or eligible in Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, or Internal Medicine.
• ACLS & ATLS certification required.
• Previous emergency medicine experience necessary.

Responsibilities

• Provide care in a critical access hospital setting managing an annual volume of 7,121 patients.
• Cover shifts of 12 hours (7a-7p or 7p-7a) as a 1099 independent contractor.

• Annual ED Volume: 7,121 patients
• Average Daily Volume: 20 patients (higher in summer)
• Critical Access Hospital; Level IV trauma center
• Single physician coverage
• EMR: EPIC
• Shifts: 7a-7p, 7p-7a. Max: 24 hours
• 1099 independent contractor

• Board certified or eligible in EM, FM, or IM
• ACLS & ATLS (or CALS)
• Previous EM experience required
• 3rd year residents accepted
