VHS is looking for a qualified Physician - Administrative.

Description: Veterans Evaluation Services (VES), a Maximus company, is seeking General Medicine Providers to perform Compensation & Pension exams and Separation Health Assessments nationwide. Current openings include:

• Provider's own office locations: Ithaca NY (1 day/week), Trumansburg NY (1 day/week). Please read the attached practice description for full role details.
• Role involves PRN, ongoing work, with options for days, 4-hour or full 8-hour shifts.
• Exams are interview-based with some physical assessments; no prescribing or treatment involved.
• Quick credentialing and onboarding process.
• Acceptable specialties include family medicine, internal medicine, orthopedic surgery, or anyone with general medicine background or experience with compensation and pension.

Rate Structure:
Half-day (up to 4 hours): $800 flat rate
Full-day (5+ hours): $1600 flat rate
Bonus: $650 upon completing training and first exams
Note: No overtime or holiday rates; local candidates only; travel included.

Additional Notes: Follow-up administrative work will be required; no reimbursement for DMA certifications or portal training prior to start.

Pay Rate: $624.00 (1099)
