AdventHealth Ottawa is seeking to add a Family Medicine with OB physician to their team. Located approximately 40 miles southwest of Kansas City, Ottawa (population ~13,000) is a growing community with a 44-bed, full-service hospital and outpatient clinics employing nearly 400 staff members across various specialties.

About the Opportunity

1. We are developing an employed OB Service Line, including 1 OB/Gyn physician and 2 Family Medicine with OB physicians.
2. Coverage is 24/7, provided by employed physicians and independent physicians from the Kansas City metro area.
3. Experience in C-Sections is required; high-risk surgeries are transferred out.
4. Relias Fetal Monitoring certification is preferred.
5. Support staff includes RNs and on-call General Surgery, with a CRNA model involving excellent practitioners.
6. The facility features a Level I Nursery, 2 Women’s Services beds, and 5 L&D beds.
7. Compensation includes a guaranteed base salary plus a wRVU production component, along with a sign-on bonus.
8. Benefits include a retirement plan with a 403(b) match and a 457(b) deferred compensation plan, medical, vision, dental, life, and disability insurance, generous time off, wellness benefits, and CME allowance.
9. This rural hospital qualifies for certain loan repayment programs.
