Job summary

Central Counties Services seeks a Certified Family Partner to support families navigating behavioral health systems in Temple, TX. This non-clinical role uses lived experience to educate, advocate, and empower caregivers under HHSC/UMCM guidelines.

Travel within the service area and a valid Texas driver’s license are required. Responsibilities include delivering peer support in individual and group settings, collaborating with Wraparound and FEP teams, and documenting services.

Qualifications

• Must have 18+ years and lived experience as a parent/caregiver of a child with behavioral health challenges.
• Must navigate one or more child-serving systems (mental health, education, CPS, juvenile justice).
• Active CFP certification or plan to obtain within 12 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide Certified Family Partner services to parents and primary caregivers.
• Deliver peer support in individual and group settings per HHSC/UMCM guidelines.
• Utilize lived experience to educate, advocate, mentor families.
• Document services and maintain records per program requirements.
• Collaborate with clinical staff while maintaining non-clinical scope.
