Job summary

Sage-Haus in Mount Pleasant, SC is seeking a House Manager & Family Assistant with childcare support for 15-20 hours per week, 3 flexible days per week (not Friday). The role blends child supervision after school with household coordination, calendar management, and proactive organizational systems to keep daily life running smoothly.

You’ll support two energetic boys, manage snacks, homework, activities, laundry, cooking, and light pet care, while maintaining a warm, structured home environment.

Qualifications

• Must have a reliable, safe personal vehicle and clean driving record.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
• Ability to navigate a two-story home throughout the day.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred (can be obtained after hire).
• Vaccinations up to date per AA Pediatric and CDC guidelines, as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Frequent school and bus pickups.
• After-school supervision with snacks, homework help, and light activities.
• Take children to activities as needed.
• Occasional overnight stays with advanced notice.
• Create and maintain household organization systems and routines.
• Daily resets of high-traffic and play areas.
• Prep home ahead of cleaner visits.
• Seasonal clothing swaps and donation coordination.
• Holiday and seasonal decor management.
• Event setup and hosting support.
• Proactive home upkeep and minor maintenance awareness.
• Light plant care.
• Wash, fold, and organize laundry for the whole family.
• Linen rotation for the children's rooms; occasional dry cleaning.
• Manage groceries and household supplies; fridge cleanout regularly.
• Mail and package handling.
• Prepare healthy, kid-friendly dinners and snacks.
• Occasional dog walks; schedule vet and grooming appointments.
• Vendor oversight for home repairs; coordinate cleaners and contractors.
• Family calendar management and advance reminders.
