Job summary

Confidential Company in New Jersey seeks an experienced executive to oversee the financial, operational, and administrative functions of a complex family enterprise. You will serve as a strategic partner to the Principals while ensuring seamless management of investment entities, operating businesses, real estate holdings, and household operations.

Qualifications

• 5-15+ years of progressive leadership experience in a Single Family Office or similar private client environment.
• Experience as COO/CAO/CFO or equivalent executive leadership role.
• Strong understanding of complex entity structures, trusts, partnerships, investment reporting, real estate operations, and governance.
• Experience coordinating with sophisticated external advisors across legal, tax, accounting, banking, insurance, and investment management.

Responsibilities

• Provide executive oversight of financial operations including consolidated reporting, treasury, budgeting, cash flow forecasting, and internal controls across multiple entities.
• Coordinate tax planning, compliance, insurance, cybersecurity, and enterprise risk management with outside advisors.
• Manage day-to-day operations of the family office, implement scalable processes, maintain corporate records, and improve operational efficiencies.
• Serve as primary relationship manager for external service providers (legal counsel, accounting firms, banks, investment professionals, insurance brokers, consultants, auditors).
• Oversee administration of diversified real estate portfolio by coordinating with property managers, lenders, vendors, and construction professionals.
• Support family governance initiatives, investment committee activities, board meetings, and philanthropic organizations; assist with long-term strategic priorities.
• Provide oversight of residential estate operations, including property managers and household staff to ensure high service standards.
