Confidential Family Office in New York seeks a CFO to serve as the principal's senior financial executive and strategic partner, overseeing accounting, treasury, reporting, and investment operations with a private equity orientation.

The role requires fluency in fund structures, direct deal mechanics, and portfolio-level financial oversight, acting as the connective tissue between the investment side and the financial/operational infrastructure of the office.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive finance leadership experience with exposure to private equity.
• Strong working knowledge of fund structures, capital calls, distributions, carried interest.
• Experience with multi-entity consolidated reporting across LPs, LLCs, and holding structures.

Responsibilities

• Financial Oversight & Reporting across investment entities, holding companies, and personal balance sheet.
• Private Equity & Direct Investment Support with due diligence and financial modeling.
• Treasury & Liquidity Management including cash flow forecasting and banking relationships.
• Entity & Structure Management across LPs, LLCs, trusts, and holding structures.
• Tax & Estate Coordination with external counsel and CPAs.
• Investment Operations tracking commitments, unfunded liabilities, and performance.
• Team & Advisor Management with external fund administrators, auditors, and advisors.
• Strategic Advisory to the principal on investment opportunities and balance sheet strategy.
