Position Summary

El Nunu Medical PC is seeking a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP), Doctor of Osteopathy (DO), or Medical Doctor (MD) to join our dedicated healthcare team. The ideal candidate is passionate about patient-centered care, values teamwork, and is committed to improving the health and well-being of the East New York community.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive primary and preventive care to patients of all ages.
• Conduct physical exams, diagnose, and manage both acute and chronic conditions.
• Order, interpret, and follow up on diagnostic tests and lab results.
• Develop individualized treatment plans and prescribe medications as appropriate.
• Educate patients on disease prevention, wellness, and healthy lifestyle choices.
• Collaborate closely with medical staff and specialists to ensure coordinated, high-quality care.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the electronic health record (EHR).

Qualifications

• Active New York State license as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP), DO, or MD (required).
• Board certification (or board eligible) in Family Medicine or related field.
• Current DEA license (or eligibility).
• Excellent diagnostic, clinical, and communication skills.
• Commitment to compassionate, culturally sensitive, patient-focused care.
• Prior experience in primary care or family medicine preferred.
• Spanish is a huge plus.
