El Nunu Medical PC in East New York, Brooklyn, NY is seeking a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP), DO, or MD to join our community-based primary care team. The role focuses on patient-centered care, teamwork, and improving health outcomes for the East New York community.
Ideal candidates hold an active NY license, board certification in Family Medicine (or equivalent), and a current DEA license. Bilingual Spanish is a huge plus; we offer flexible scheduling and a collaborative work environment.
Qualifications
- Active NY license as FNP/DO/MD.
- Board certification in Family Medicine or related field.
- Current DEA registration.
- Excellent diagnostic and communication skills.
- Experience in primary care preferred.
- Spanish language proficiency is a plus.
Responsabilités
- Provide comprehensive primary and preventive care to patients of all ages.
- Conduct physical exams, diagnose, and manage acute and chronic conditions.
- Order, interpret, and follow up on diagnostic tests and lab results.
- Develop individualized treatment plans and prescribe medications as appropriate.
- Educate patients on disease prevention, wellness, and healthy lifestyle choices.
- Collaborate with staff and specialists to ensure coordinated, high-quality care.
- Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic health record (EHR).
