Job summary

A Plus Hire Right Search Group is seeking a Family Nurse Practitioner for Albuquerque, NM. The role emphasizes family-focused, patient-centered care with a Monday–Friday schedule from 9:00 AM–5:00 PM.

Ideal candidates will have 3+ years of FNP experience, strong clinical assessment skills, and experience with Epic or athenahealth EMR systems. Telehealth experience is highly desirable and a collaborative, team-based environment is offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of Family Nurse Practitioner experience.
• Experience with EMR/EHR systems such as Epic or athenahealth.
• Telehealth experience is highly desirable.
• Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and critical-thinking skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, physical examinations, and medical evaluations.
• Diagnose and treat acute and chronic health conditions.
• Develop and manage individualized patient treatment plans.
• Provide routine primary and preventive healthcare services.
• Order and interpret appropriate diagnostic testing and laboratory studies.
• Prescribe medications and treatments within the scope of practice.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans when appropriate.
• Educate patients and families regarding medications, disease prevention, wellness, and healthy lifestyle choices.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the EMR/EHR system.
• Build trusted relationships with patients and families through compassionate, individualized care.
• Remain current with evidence-based clinical practices through continuing education and professional development.
