A-Line Staffing Solutions is now hiring a Family Nurse Practitioner - Primary Care in Florida. The role requires 3-4 days per week and coverage every other weekend. Hours: Mon-Fri 8:30am-7:30pm; Sat 9:00am-5:30pm; Sun 9:00am-4:30pm. Compensation is $78.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• FNP license and 1+ year of primary care, urgent care, ER, internal/family medicine or hospital experience.
• Ability to provide comprehensive primary care for patients 18 months and older.
• Licensed to prescribe medications and order/interpret diagnostic tests per state rules.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive, evidence-based primary care to patients 18 months and older in a primary care setting.
• Perform advanced patient assessments, diagnose acute and chronic conditions, and develop treatment plans.
• Prescribe medications and order/interpreting diagnostic tests in accordance with state licensure and clinical guidelines.
• Manage common conditions including respiratory infections, UTIs, dermatologic conditions, allergies, and minor injuries.
• Deliver preventive care services including vaccinations, health screenings, and routine physical examinations.
• Conduct women's health evaluations including pregnancy testing and STI screening; refer to OB/GYN for specialized care as needed.
• Monitor and manage chronic diseases such as hypertension, diabetes, and asthma.
• Provide patient education on disease management, medications, and preventive health strategies.
• Document all patient encounters in EPIC - electronic medical records ensuring compliance with regulatory and quality standards.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care and appropriate referrals.
