Job summary

NPHire is seeking a Family Nurse Practitioner to work full-time as a staff clinician in Washington, DC. The position splits time between two clinics, with a Monday–Friday schedule, no weekends, and a focus on comprehensive, preventive primary care across all ages.

The role offers full practice authority, DC licensure requirements, and a competitive base salary ($125,000–$140,000) with an ICHRA, PTO, holidays, and CE allowance. Onsite labs support decision making in visits.

Qualifications

• MSN, DNP or equivalent advanced nursing degree required.
• Active, unrestricted Washington, DC NP license required.
• FNP certification through ANCC or AANP required due to pediatric panel.
• DEA registration active.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive primary care across the lifespan at two clinic sites.
• Provide well child care, immunizations, physicals, and preventive screenings.
• Diagnose, treat and manage acute and chronic conditions with emphasis on chronic disease management.
• Prescribe and manage medications, including controlled substances.

Education

MSN, DNP or equivalent advanced nursing degree

Active Washington, DC Nurse Practitioner license

Current Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) certification (ANCC or AANP)
