Job summary

A-Line Staffing Solutions is seeking a qualified Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) to provide high-quality primary and family healthcare in Washington, DC. The ideal candidate will have recent experience in primary care, family medicine, or urgent care and will work with a dedicated clinical care team to promote preventive care and positive patient outcomes.

The FNP will perform comprehensive assessments, diagnose and treat illnesses, and coordinate care across the care team.

Qualifications

• Active FNP license in the state where the position is located.
• Minimum of one year of recent NP experience in primary care, family medicine, or urgent care.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC).
• Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and treatment skills.
• Knowledge of chronic disease management and quality measures.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to practice autonomously, prioritize responsibilities, and adapt to a fast-paced clinical environment.
• Proficiency with electronic medical records and clinical technology.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive primary and family care, including patient assessments, diagnoses, treatment plans, and follow-up care.
• Evaluate and treat common illnesses, injuries, and ongoing health conditions.
• Conduct routine physical examinations, health screenings, and diagnostic testing.
• Provide patient education on preventive care, healthy lifestyle choices, and chronic disease management.
• Coordinate care with other healthcare professionals to support continuity of care.
• Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation within electronic medical record systems.
• Support patient follow-up, appointment management, and other clinic administrative responsibilities.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized clinical environment.
• Work independently while collaborating with the clinical care team to deliver quality patient care.
