Job summary

The Recruiting Hive is seeking a Family Nurse Practitioner for its Long Island outpatient group. This 100% outpatient role offers a competitive salary and flexible hours, with no on-call requirements.

Ideal candidates hold BSN/MSN, NY RN & NP licenses, and at least 8 years of NP experience. Excellent communication and leadership potential are highly valued as the practice grows its patient panel.

Qualifications

• BSN and MSN from an accredited nursing school.
• NYS RN & NP license, BLS, Board Certified
• 8+ years experience as NP

Responsibilities

• Serve as a key clinical provider in delivering high-quality care.
• Provide outpatient primary care, including preventive, acute, and chronic disease management.
• Refer patients to appropriate specialty services as needed.
• Educate patients on diagnoses, treatment options, and prevention.
• Maintain thorough EMR documentation.
• Collaborate with referring physicians and care teams for seamless care.
• Provide clinical oversight to nurses and support staff.
• Ensure HIPAA, NYS DOH, CMS, and payer guideline compliance.
• Participate in population health initiatives and quality improvement.
• Contribute to growing a sustainable patient panel.
