Job summary

HealthBar is seeking a Family Nurse Practitioner to join a clinic serving employees with a four-day work week. Comp starting at $52/hour, 32 hours/week (0.8 FTE).

The role centers on prevention, wellness, and whole-person care within an employer-sponsored setting. You'll provide proactive primary care across in-person and occupational health visits, collaborate with a clinical team, and support wellness initiatives while maintaining autonomy and meaningful patient relationships.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
• Active, unrestricted Michigan RN license.
• Active, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner certification.
• Active Michigan NP Specialty Certification.
• BLS certification within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Educate patients on prevention and self-management.
• Provide proactive, relationship-based primary care.
• Coordinate follow-up care and care management outreach.
• Counsel patients on medications, lifestyle changes and safety.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests across settings.
• Develop individualized treatment plans and manage conditions.
• Collaborate with specialists, pharmacies, and employer teams.
• Support employer wellness initiatives and preventive health efforts.
