100% Tele-Health for Urgent Care - Over $200,000 Per Year, Practicing Half the Month

Position: Physician Assistant or Family Nurse Practitioner

Location: Central and Southern CA (Remote)

Employment Type: Full-time

Salary: $85/hour plus OT, with a $10,000 Sign-on Bonus and $20,000 Annual Retention Bonus

Position Overview:

For eight years, Accelerated Urgent Care has been voted Best Urgent Care in Bakersfield, CA. We are hiring Physician Assistants and Family Nurse Practitioners for a 100% telehealth position within our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Practice urgent care medicine in twelve-hour (12) shifts with a 1-hour break.
2. Work full-time, totaling 12 shifts per month, including 2 on-call shifts, from 8 am to 9 pm.
3. Treat 4 to 5 patients per hour across all age groups, from newborns to geriatrics, in a low-acuity setting.
4. Perform common procedures such as I&Ds, toenail removal, and laceration repair.
5. Utilize in-house point-of-care testing and X-ray equipment, with all X-rays overread by a Board-Certified Radiologist and results available within 20 minutes for routine orders.
6. Use the VelociDoc EMR system with Dragon dictation for efficient documentation, completing patient notes in approximately one minute.

Qualifications:

• Completion of a formal MSN, FNP program, or MS in Health Sciences or Physician Assistant Studies.
• Active and good-standing medical license.
• DEA certification.
