Job summary

La Clínica de La Raza is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join an outpatient primary care team in Oakland. You will deliver comprehensive medical care to a diverse, medically complex patient population and collaborate with a cross-functional team to improve health outcomes.

You will participate in mentorship programs, pursue quality initiatives, and benefit from educational leave, license reimbursement, FTCA malpractice coverage, and potential NHSC loan repayment.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current BLS certificate.
• Requires CA license and DEA license.
• Requires board certification for NP or PA.
• Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant certification with clinical experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide primary care in an outpatient setting to a diverse patient panel.
• Prescribe medications and order tests per protocol.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to improve clinic flow and patient outcomes.
• Deliver patient education and ensure culturally competent care.
• Support supervision of medical assistants and participate in quality improvement.
