Job summary
University of Kansas Medical Center’s School of Nursing invites applications for a full-time nurse faculty position (clinical or research track) to support the Family Nurse Practitioner track in the DNP program. Qualifications
- Doctoral degree in nursing (DNP or PhD) required.
- State of Kansas registered nurse (RN) license or eligible.
- State of Kansas Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) license or eligible.
- Current certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) required.
- One year of clinical experience as an FNP.
Responsibilities
- Teach nursing students across didactic, online, in-person, hybrid, and clinical settings, primarily in the DNP program.
- Contribute to course and curriculum development, implementation, and evaluation.
- Engage in service activities to support the School of Nursing's mission.
- Collaborate with KU nursing faculty and external health system partners.
- Establish and maintain an independent, externally funded research program for tenure-track appointments.
