Job summary

MainStreet Family Care seeks a PRN Family Nurse Practitioner to support multiple clinics in Oxford, NC. This role offers diverse exposure to urgent care, primary care, occupational medicine, and telemedicine with flexible shifts and new grads encouraged to apply.

You’ll perform minor procedures, suturing, splinting, orthopedic evaluations, and radiology over-reads, while collaborating with various clinic teams to deliver high-quality patient care in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Family Nurse Practitioner Board Certification is required.
• MSN or higher is required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential.
• EMR and Microsoft Office experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Urgent care, primary care, occupational medicine, and telemedicine
• Minor procedures including toenail removals and foreign body removals
• Suturing and splinting
• General orthopedic evaluations and management
• X-ray review (with Radiologist over-read)
• EKG interpretation
• General dermatology, eye complaints, and GYN care
• Treating patients of all ages
• Emergency management skills in a fast-paced setting

PRN Family Nurse Practitioner – Oxford, NC

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, thrives in a high-volume environment, and is flexible working with different teams and clinics. New grads are encouraged to apply!

Responsibilities:

• Urgent care, primary care, occupational medicine, and telemedicine


• Minor procedures including toenail removals and foreign body removals


• Suturing and splinting


• General orthopedic evaluations and management


• X-ray review (with Radiologist over-read)


• EKG interpretation


• General dermatology, eye complaints, and GYN care


• Treating patients of all ages


• Emergency management skills in a fast-paced setting

Schedule:

• Shifts determined approximately two months in advance

MainStreet Clinic Hours:

• Monday – Friday: 8:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.


• Saturday & Sunday: 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

KidsStreet Clinic Hours (select locations only):

• Monday – Friday: 8:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.


• Saturday & Sunday: 9:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m.

Hours are subject to change based on company needs, training, float coverage, etc.
