Job summary

MainStreet Family Care in Goldsboro, NC is seeking a PRN Family Nurse Practitioner to join multiple clinics. You will provide urgent and primary care, perform minor procedures, suturing, wound care, and X-ray/EKG reviews. New grads are welcome and flexible shifts abound across sites.

We value strong communication, teamwork, and the ability to work with diverse patient populations, including pediatrics and adults. A competitive hourly pay with bonus incentives and CME support are offered.

Qualifications

• Family Nurse Practitioner board certification required.
• MSN or higher required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• EMR and Microsoft Office experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide urgent care, primary care, occupational medicine, and telemedicine services.
• Perform minor procedures including toenail removals and foreign body removals.
• Suturing and splinting as part of patient care.
• Conduct general orthopedic evaluations and management.
• Review X-rays with Radiologist over-read and interpret EKGs.
• Provide care for dermatology, eye issues, and GYN concerns.
• Treat patients of all ages in a fast-paced setting.
• Support emergency management in urgent situations.

PRN Family Nurse Practitioner – Goldsboro, NC

At MainStreet Family Care, we’re growing fast and looking for fast, fun, and friendly PRN Family Nurse Practitioners (FNPs) to work across multiple clinics in your region. Our providers help patients feel better FAST! Boom!

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, thrives in a high-volume environment, and is flexible working with different teams and clinics. New grads are encouraged to apply!

Responsibilities:

• Urgent care, primary care, occupational medicine, and telemedicine
• Minor procedures including toenail removals and foreign body removals
• Suturing and splinting
• General orthopedic evaluations and management
• X-ray review (with Radiologist over-read)
• EKG interpretation
• General dermatology, eye complaints, and GYN care
• Treating patients of all ages
• Emergency management skills in a fast-paced setting

Schedule:

• Shifts determined approximately two months in advance

MainStreet Clinic Hours:

• Monday – Friday: 8:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.
• Saturday & Sunday: 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

KidsStreet Clinic Hours (select locations only):

• Monday – Friday: 8:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.
• Saturday & Sunday: 9:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m.

Hours are subject to change based on company needs, training, float coverage, etc.
