Job summary

MainStreet Family Care is seeking PRN Family Nurse Practitioners to support urgent care clinics in and around Cameron, NC. This role offers flexible shifts and the chance to work across multiple clinics, providing urgent care, primary care, occupational medicine, and telemedicine.

Ideal candidates are experienced in high-volume settings, with MSN or higher and FNP board certification; new grads encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• EMR and Microsoft Office experience preferred.
• Experience working in high-volume urgent care settings is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Urgent care, primary care, occupational medicine, and telemedicine
• Minor procedures including toenail removals and foreign body removals
• Suturing and splinting
• General orthopedic evaluations and management
• X-ray review (with Radiologist over-read)
• EKG interpretation
• General dermatology, eye complaints, and GYN care
• Treating patients of all ages
• Emergency management skills in a fast-paced setting

Responsibilities

• Urgent care, primary care, occupational medicine, and telemedicine
• Minor procedures including toenail removals and foreign body removals
• Suturing and splinting
• General orthopedic evaluations and management

Schedule

• Shifts determined approximately two months in advance

MainStreet Clinic Hours:

• Monday - Friday: 8:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m.
• Saturday & Sunday: 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

KidsStreet Clinic Hours (select locations only):

• Monday - Friday: 8:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m.
• Saturday & Sunday: 9:00 a.m. - 9:00 p.m.

Hours are subject to change based on company needs, training, float coverage, etc.
