Job summary

MainStreet Family Care is seeking a PRN Family Nurse Practitioner in Ocala, FL to provide urgent and primary care across multiple services including telemedicine and minor procedures. The role requires a board-certified FNP with MSN or higher and strong communication skills.

You will perform suturing, splinting, dermatology, GYN, and EKG interpretations, with radiologist over-read on X-rays. Shifts are determined in advance and compensation includes hourly pay with incentives.

Qualifications

• Board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner is required.
• MSN or higher degree is required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• EMR and Microsoft Office experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide urgent care, primary care, occupational medicine, and telemedicine.
• Perform minor procedures including toenail removals and foreign body removals.
• Suturing, splinting, and general orthopedic evaluations.
• X-ray review with Radiologist over-read and EKG interpretation.
• Offer dermatology, eye care, and GYN services for patients of all ages.
• Deliver emergency management in a fast-paced setting.
• Shifts determined approximately two months in advance.

• General orthopedic evaluations and management
• X‑ray review (with Radiologist over‑read)
• EKG interpretation
• General dermatology, eye complaints, and GYN care
• Treating patients of all ages
• Emergency management skills in a fast‑paced setting

Schedule

• Shifts determined approximately two months in advance

MainStreet Clinic Hours

• Monday – Friday: 8:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.
• Saturday & Sunday: 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

KidsStreet Clinic Hours (select locations only)

• Monday – Friday: 8:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.
• Saturday & Sunday: 9:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m.
